Endgame and Farming
Once you reach the mid-to-late game, progression shifts from survival to optimization. Your primary goals become placing bases on top of high value resource nodes, farming Legendary Schematics from Alpha Pals, and cycling gold through Black Marketeers to acquire perfect trait Pals.
Optimal Base Locations
Industrial base placement revolves around overlapping clusters of un-minable resource nodes within the Palbox radius. The following coordinates represent the most efficient automation sites.
The Ore and Coal Nexus (190, -40)
A highly defensible mountaintop featuring overlapping clusters of both Ore and Coal deposits. The extreme verticality of this location breaks the pathing algorithm for enemy NPC raids, making the base virtually immune to standard ground assaults. Assign Mining Lv. 3+ Pals here for continuous output.
The Sulfur and Coal Nexus (-713, -319)
A flat expanse providing dual access to endgame gunpowder materials. This location sits conveniently near a dungeon entrance, allowing you to farm dungeon chests between coal runs. Ideal for ammunition production at scale.
When placing a Palbox at a resource site, stand directly on top of the densest cluster of nodes before dropping it. The blue radius ring should cover as many nodes as possible.
Black Marketeer Locations
Black Marketeers buy and sell Pals for gold. They are essential for cycling unwanted bred Pals for currency and purchasing rare specimens that carry optimal passive traits. These NPCs hide in specific locations:

Legendary Schematic Farming
Legendary Schematics (Tier 4 blueprints) provide massive stat upgrades over standard crafted equipment. They drop at very low rates from specific sources.

You can double your loot rolls per Alpha Pal encounter. Capture the target Alpha in a sphere to trigger the first drop roll. Return to your base, equip a Meat Cleaver, and butcher the captured Pal. The game executes a second, independent drop roll from the same loot table. This is the fastest method for farming rare schematics.

Dark type Pals like Selyne and Splatterina are naturally nocturnal, meaning they continue working through the night cycle while other Pals sleep. This gives your base a massive passive increase to 24-hour production yield.
